Initial Attraction and Long-Term Commitment

My journey with Triveni began with a deep interest in mechanical engineering and a particular fascination with power transmission and gears. The opportunity to specialize in manufacturing industrial gearboxes for critical sectors such as power, steel, petrochemical, and fertilizer was compelling. This initial allure has been sustained by my passion for gear manufacturing, which has kept me with Triveni for over two decades. The industry's evolution, with advancements like multi-axis CNC controls, automation, and profile grinding, has been mirrored in Triveni's growth.

Navigating and Overcoming Challenges

Throughout my tenure at Triveni, I have accepted multiple challenges as an integral part of my learning and development. The transition from conventional to CNC manufacturing in the 90s and mid-2000s marked a significant leap in productivity and precision. Handling high-power gear production, heat treatment, and dimensional control were pivotal. Key improvements, such as high-productivity profile grinding and managing grinding burn, were essential. Addressing issues across various sites highlighted the critical role of teamwork and technical skills. Training engineers, motivating staff, and building team trust have been crucial in maintaining consistent quality and productivity. Expanding our production capabilities from 800mm to 2800mm diameter gears was a notable achievement. Each challenge has demanded strategic planning and a commitment to continuous improvement, all contributing to Triveni's expansion and success.

One of my achievements at Triveni is contributing to developing the infrastructure, technology, processes, and skills needed to manufacture high-accuracy, high-speed gears with diameters ranging from 800mm to 2800mm. Long-term employees are vital in shaping our organizational culture, fostering a sense of belonging, and enhancing the shop's capacity and capabilities.
