Over 30 years ago, I began my career with Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd., drawn by its reputation as one of India's largest sugar business group and the promise of a balanced work-life environment. The supportive management and inclusive culture has been instrumental in my decision to remain with Triveni for over three decades.

Key Milestones and Achievements

Throughout my tenure, I have been fortunate to contribute to projects that have driven operational efficiency and expanded our capabilities. Notable milestones include presenting at the STAI seminar in 2000 on "Rise of CaO from Mixed Juice to Clear Juice," installing the B Continuous Pan in 1995, transitioning to the DMPIE process in 2013, and upgrading to a new short retention juice clarifier in 2017.

Navigating Challenges

The journey has not been without its obstacles. In 1996, the collapse of the wooden cooling tower mid-season necessitated immediate and sustained efforts from our team to restore normal operations. This challenging experience underscored the team work, resilience and dedication that characterise Triveni's workforce.

Adapting to Industry Changes

The sugar industry has undergone significant evolution, particularly with digitalisation and diversification into cogeneration and ethanol production. Triveni has kept pace with these changes by expanding its Khatauli unit to 16,000 TCD in 2005 and refining its processes for enhanced efficiency. I have played a role in ensuring these transitions were executed seamlessly, contributing to the Company's growth trajectory.

Triveni's unique culture, which treats employees as family, fosters innovation, collaboration, and a relentless focus on customer needs. Our success in expanding plant capacity with minimal outsourcing is a testament to the teamwork and commitment that drive our operations.

With extensive experience gained over three decades, I have been able to provide valuable insights and contribute to strategic decisions under the mentorship of leaders like Dr Ashok Kumar and Mr Pradeep Khandelwal. This guidance has enabled me to embrace new ideas and align our initiatives with Triveni's vision and values.
